I've unfortuantely seen kids blatantly laugh and clap when their competition drops or makes a mistake. I hate it. Go ahead, think it... But at least don't openly show it! Not classy.

when the teams in front of you go on as soon as they get up to the platform or where ever they enter at, and then your team gets up there and waits for like 5 mins. so then your nerves get worse.

I dislike almost all awards ceromonies... In my opinion, I don't want to jump around, scream for beads, dance etc for 45 minutes (when its usually late at night for my division). Just give out the results and be done with it.
& Also, like someone else said, girls walking around with just spankies on.

i think nca dallas has the BEST awards.....10th...get your award and get off the stage...quick and to the point...and cheersport has good awards at nationals...but then when you have that many teams it would have to be done fast.

Also When Girl Fix Their Hair On The Side During The Routine.
Bobbing Of The Head.... Bleh. There Is A Way To Perform Without Being Too Crazy A Pretty Smile Would Be Great!

I agree with teams cheering/clapping when their competition drops a stunt or makes a mistake. I want to compete against the best teams and have them all perform perfectly to see where everyone really ranks, not win by default because performance errors.

oh & for some reason it really bugs me when a team goes on the floor to perform, and takes 5 minutes to jump up and down on the floor, clap, do handshakes, hug every person on the floor, stretch there back, mark there tumbling etc. thats what the time is for behind stage :). I mean a couple handshakes here or there is fine, but I mean come on. Especially the stretching... you can do that right before you come onto the floor.

This is kind of similar to ^^^, but it's super annoying to me for some reason when level 5 teams get on the floor and they take literally 5 minutes to get set doing all that spiriting and stuff then everyone stands still and there's that ONE girl who does the reach up, wrap, and pull like she's marking a full. Like congratulations, you're about to throw a full or double. It's not necessary to do that. Like, if you're throwing it at competition you should know the proper technique by now so stop with the pretend fulls. Maybe they're trying to brag & show the audience "look at me I can do a full" but ugh, so annoying. Even worse I think is when someone NOT level 5 does that...you aren't even doing a full!! what are you doing?!

Agreed...I truly hate the 45 min of waiting/dancing before the awards!!! I also hate seeing girls wearing jeans and uniform tops or girls in uniform with uggs....

it is so rude and cheerleaders should be showing good sportsmanship!

Badly run competitions. There was this one I went to two years ago where we waited an hour for ONE TEAM. What?! And it wasn't a bad gym either. Then because they ran late, they asked the cheerleaders to roll up the mats. I kid you not. Our coaches wouldn't let anyone from our gym do it. It was ridiculous. It was luckily a small local. Run by a gym, not a company. Not that that's acceptable for any competition...
