Ok you bring up a perfect point.... why coed stunt??? At worlds you get a 5 point bonus for doing a toss to the top multiple body positions and a level 5 exit.... so this year had 1 boy coed stunt... did a elite entry in my opinion, then poped off.... but now looks look closely... only 1 boy did it, it bobbled, and he poped down..... so as a judge he might have gotten 1 out of the 5 points possible because only one boy did it... so it wasnt majority but he bobbled so the team lost MANY more points in execution..... so.... who in the top 5 right now can put up at least 3 toss to the top... at least 2 body positions and at least a full down.... that seems like the only way to get 4 out of the 5 points????

This comes back to a pervious post I made about scoring. Scoring is subjective with objective guidelines. A judge decides, usually based on what they perceive to be difficult, the point value of skills. It is not written down anywhere what a Quad toe back will get you on a scoresheet, but it seems like everyone is now doing them. Why?

If that one boy stunting is the best in the division than the subjective expertise of the judge will probably reward them more than 1 point. And next year... that wont be good enough to get the same score (just as we have seen that multiple stunt sequences have almost become required to earn a higher score).

And how do actual MEN stunt? What would one have to do be a MAN?

Im all for actual partner stunting but completely disagree with the way you chose to word that....
I used that word for a reason, MEN stunt by holding their own stunts, unassisted. If I see a girl toss a stunt to hands then do a lib unassisted I would say "wow she stunts like a MAN". How is stating that coed stunting is "Manly" a negative thing? So much is talked about coed stunting be rewarded, what's the problem?

How do you stunt as a girl?

Ok well I see things are being taken as literal, I am sorry if I said something offensive, wasn't my point. Boys should grab a girl by the waist throw her in the air and catch her feet. If a girl can do it too, that's awesome I give her props. Original topic of thread was about balancing a coed vs ag div. That was the only thing I was trying to talk about. Again, sorry if it got all screwed up bc I think boys should coed stunt, again my b.

Oh ok so basically any male who doesnt hold his own stunt isnt a man right? Like I said before Im all for coed stunting, I just think your using the wrong words.

Not what I meant but I see my flaw, I apologize again if I misspoke

@kingston is a dork!! How about that

that works. I am working on notifitcations popping up and playing a sound while you are on a page. it currently isnt working... dang.

try again?

Question: for two small small teams
on team A a boy single bases a toss lib
on team B a girl single bases a toss lib

assuming both are executed equally well, does gender make a difference in the scoring?

personally, I think the skill should be rewarded regardless of the gender of the athlete performing the skill.

A toss hands is a level 2 skill. A hands lib is a level 3 skill. A toss lib would be a level 4 skill. An entry lib would be level 5.

If there are ways for a gym to get an advantage and win by starting to teach and use those skills, then you will see a change pretty quickly.

Toss hands is a level 3 skill. It's an illegal release move in levels 1 and 2.

Touche! So assissted toss hands extension is level 2. Seems like a good starter for coed, doesnt it?

well is there any stipulations on steriods use cause most days I feel thats the only way Im pressing any girl above my head

You'd be surprised what you are able to do when working on it. I've seen skinny boys be able to stunt. And you're tall, and that's a huge advantage.
