I still have a scar on my .. um, chest area .. from a double down gone wrong- flyer kept her mouth open, under rotated and bit me. That was a fun bruise to have.
You're a backspot right? (;
Same thing but reversed happened to a girl on my team. The back held HER mouth open and bit the flier in her chin(However she managed to find it) and she was bleeding all over her chest. I laughed so hard when i found out they were both ok.

We have to tilt our flyer back in a part of the routine after we cradle, my bases rocked her too hard because they sent her so far back that she hit my face with her shoes. I had a HUGE bruise!

My backspot last year would never reach up high to catch the basket first... she always ended up elbowing me on the forearm in the catch. Every base that stunted with her went to World's with this bruise....

Hit my knee in a bhs this summer. First it was as big as a tennis ball and this is what it looked like after a few days :) Pretty.

Nooo, how awful. Hope he gets better soon, with comp season starting and all.

I'm always like, "You see this?? Yeah, it happened at cheer practice."
& then for some reason I get a sense of pride about it..... weird.
Yep, it's my evidence when someone tries to tell me cheerleading isn't a sport.
