I am not speaking as a UofL rep or GT gym rep, but it is my understanding that they combined athletes from Pink and Black and they did have enough athletes to have BOTH teams, but a decision was made to create one team, BLINK.
They formed teams differently this year, which will hopefully help out the kids in college i.e. travel costs, time demands, and late nights at the gym.
The coaches considered the athletes' requirements for both GT and UofL and formed these teams to hopefully create the most competitive teams, while allowing these athletes to be able to still focus on their grades as well as continue with normal college life.

I'm guessing eastern but I'm not sure. I just saw this on Gabi's twitter.

yeay it's looking good! too bad it's only 8 minutes.
it had a link to one of gabie butler's episodes where she tells about joining GT. when she was talking about her former team, am I the only one that sensed a "weird/awkward" vibe?

oh and how do you pronounce Louisville correctly? it seems like everyone is saying it differently!

lou-EE-ville, lou-UH-ville, lou-EH-ville... then you can alter the ville to vuhl. take your pick.
hmm hard to chose from, so many options. what determines the pronunciation? region?

I don't know, but I say it Lou-EE-ville. When I've traveled there for work I got the sense that all the people that grew up there say Lou-UH-ville, w/ a really de-emphasized ville.
