i was thinking about this. there is no way to limit the design of them. because if varsity doesnt make it, then people will find someone who will.
the only thing they can limit is the amount of skin showing. They did it for college nationals. People didn't like it at first but it was fine. You are able to show skin but there are rules as to how much.
Is it really necessary for a uniform to be backless, or a halter top, etc? Or have a skirt that is less than 6 inches high?
I think there is a difference between athletic and hoochie. BUT, we let girls practice in sports bras and spandex. and most uniforms cover more than that.
