I would absolutely tell a cheer dad to step away from the bow.

That's hilarious my CP wears bow bands and I could only imagine my DH wearing one of them. LOL

Aw :) maybe its cause I'm of an age that my parents just embarrass me with whatever they do lol or the fact I can't ever imagine them cheerleading, let alone wear a bow and glitter lol :)

I personally can't stand cheer mom's in bows and competition make up, but it also bothers me when siblings of the athletes do the same thing..

I wear enough bling to set off airport security when running from comp to catch plane (seriously they had to pat me down) and I would have to draw the line at wearing a bow. :D

For an over-the-top cheer dad, what is over the top? Aside from wearing a cheer bow? Is it the dad that dresses up in war paint the color of the team? Or has his hair cut in the team name? or????? Just want to be sure I don't fall into that category!! JK!!

don't know what team they are from but, has anyone seen the guys that walk around comps wearing the FULL body suits in the gyms colors. like i'm talking blue man group type things.

and the guy from east coast rockets? although he doesn't bother me that much because he runs out to the floor with the girls so he's almost like their mascot, but the thought of anyway dressing up that much freaks me out.

My mum wears a tiny bow on a slide-the ones you buy in high street stores as day to day hair accessories, in our team colour as a display of her support which I think is really nice as she's not overly keen on the whole Cheerleading thing in general and really hates bows.... So I appreciate her support, but I could NEVER imagine a parent in an Allstar bow and competition make up :S too far, too far. In the uk, I have never seen this happen unless a parent team are performing

Anna-grace, those tiny bows are definitely not what I was referring too, I wear those and even a cute flower or feather that's what in trend now. I'm talking about those BIG allstar bows not even the school cheerbows, with bling, sequin, & glitter. Now that's not cute at all!!!
