Ughhh I dont like the idea either! Of course there are drama filled cheer moms whether its high school or all star but to me the drama that is on Dance Moms is fake. I still watch the show because I love the dancers and routines, but that drama and yelling has me shaking my head! And on the other side, it is all about money so who knows what will happen.

Will they get money? Because Christy (Chole's mom) said that they none of them get paid for doing the show..

The dancers/moms from Dance Moms can't get paid because then they'd be considered "professional dancers" and they couldn't compete at the competitions they currently attend. I don't think that would be a problem in all star cheer.

Not trying to be mean but I know you have already done this in a couple threads but please don't copy and paste like this. No one is going to help you.

I personally think it would be much better if you made one new thread for this only.. And people could comment on the thread in regards to you or go ahead and vote for you but please don't spam all these threads when they have nothing to do with it!!!

They deleted it apparently. This one girl went around on a bunch of threads asking us to vote for her in a Facebook contest to be on a cover. She just kept copy and pasting the same long message in a bunch of random threads.

Then she went in the worlds thread and spammed it with the same message and she got banned!

they get paid for dance moms. i believe $10,000 an episode and more if the episode does re runs.

The problem with them doing a show and getting paid for it would be if you ever wanted to get an athletic scholarship (through NCAA) you would run into trouble because you got paid/endorsed in what you were doing. If you make so much money doing what you are getting your scholarship for then they can withold your scholarship or not give you one. It was sort of touched on in that gymnastics show on ABC Family (the girl took an endorsment so she would no longer be able to get a scholarship). I don't know if the girls on Dance Moms would ever try for an athletic scholarship (by the time they are in college Dance or Cheer could be NCAA regulated) but it could come back to not be so good.

This is true. if the kids were paid directly they would not be able to get a scholarship. they would still be able to go to the same competitions they always go to though, no change in that. but the kids are not paid only the moms.

What so it depends on how much money you make, for whether or not they can or cannot give you a scholarship? Sorry slightly confused on that!
