I think there was a thread in the main forums somewhere too, at least I have seen one and had a discussion with someone about lying and I'm not in the parent section. I can't remember the thread though.

You are right. Looking back, some of the discussions were on the main part of the site.I remember that one of our college athletes was involved the conversations. I think that the progression and the race threads were happening in both parents' and All Star sections simultaneously.

In an effort to diffuse any tension that has developed in this thread, I shall steer things towards a different direction by sharing something I came across Twitter today. Not that it matters, but it looks like it's a definite no to Top Gun for Gabi.

My grammar is not the best, I blame it on being taught English and Spanish grammar at the same time some things slip my mind. I'm in college, a very competitive one at that so I guess I've done well up to this point. I am still really particular about grammar basics but I don't judge those who struggle.

Just spent about 20 mins catching up with this thread! And now I'm going to derail the derailment. I recently decided to watch the first season again and Gabi said she left TG and Trinity because she felt the teams weren't up to her speed and when she found out about an opening on smoed she took the chance. She also said she felt that team would push her and help her improve and she'd always wanted to cheer with Kiara because she looks up to her.

Now y'all can get back to grammar.

I'm only in high school, but my biggest pet peeve is when people mix up "your" and you're". It's also annoying when people confuses "there" ,"their" ,and "they're". I'm really not a stickler for most things but those are concepts we learned in like 3rd grade!

The only thing that bugs me is when people don't know how to say espresso. I had a Starbucks barista tell me my Cafe Expresso Frappuccino was done and I was in a bad mood for a while after that...
That irks me too but many people do it so I don't say anything. What really gets me going as well is when I order things at an Italian restaurant with the right pronunciation of the word, because I am Italian and speak it, and the waiter or waitress correct me and/or tell me I'm saying it wrong HA lol
