I've noticed you have not continued with the show Cheer Jersey in recent monthes since its pilot. I've also noticed a little show called Dance moms. This maybe the most pitiful excuse for an enlightenment of an activity that many people don't have a first hand knowledge of. If I were you, I would discontinue that travesty of Dance Moms, and continue with something that isn't a Real Housewives/real world love child and something with more realism. Thanks -Signed every Cheerleader in America.

and after watching about 5 minutes of "Dance Moms" , every dancer in America as well............

One show and they had a spoof. I don't think Lifetime thought that was a positive experience.

I'm not gonna lie.... I enjoyed Dance Moms. Abby Lee kept it real. She shouldn't talk to grown women like that...but well they were out of line.

Wasn't all that different from cheer parents anyway.

Spending money they don't have so that their kid can be a "star" (check)
Questioning coaches judgment (check)
Getting drunk in a hotel bar (check, check)
Meddling parent that used to "dance" way back when and "owns" a studio with a average at best daughter (check)
Brown nosing Mama that sticks to the status quo so that their kid wont be outed...Hey Michelle Obama look alike (check).

I mean these are all things we've seen with cheer parents. I agree that they should bring back Jersey Cheer simply because its a different format and aspect... but if you replace Dance with Cheer and made it a show...we'd get the same thing.

I for one, cannot wait until next week

Upset I missed it! I need to catch a rerun.

It's on again tonight (at 8 here in Chicago) - you might be able to catch it then. I'm recording it because I'm dying to see it after my idiot friend said she loved it and hopes to be on it. Of course this is also the friend who knows half the people on Toddlers and Tiaras and thinks sugar is a great pageant day breakfast.

I haven't watched this show, as I don't get Lifetime here in Canada, however I just watched a 30 second ad for it.. looks like a mix of Real Housewives of Trash Town mixed with Toddlers and Tiaras, however I find myself desperately wanting to watch this..

Its mostly a lot of the coach screaming at either the parents, the girls or again more parents. The actual part about competitions and dance I feel like we can relate to a bit, but all of the cattiness gets old very quick. One out of control parent confrontation, fine, makes drama for the show.....but over 7 or 8 for one episode? I mean come on......

I have to say that I enjoyed the show.. although I thought the owner was a little to over the top for my taste, I thought parts of it could of taken place at any cheer gym/competition....

I'm watching the first 7 minutes of it, and already I think this thing is set up to be more drama-tastic than anything. From the pyramid to the parents watching area to the way they have set up the girls just screams nonsense/unbelievability..

not gonna lie, the show was entertaining, but they are all crazy!
