Haha so back before MySpace there was a xanga.

Yes I had a xanga page. Please no one go find it because it is filled with drama from my 15& 16 year old life. Lol

There was a girl who created a fake xanga and was writing stuff about me and my friend so I put one of those iP tracker things on there. I notice the next day the fake xanga had the same iP as another girl who wrote on my page under her real name. (whom i did know and go to school with)
So I uploaded proof that the real girl and whoever created the fake girl were the same person and the bullying stopped which was so good! I felt so clever!

Lol sorry all this talk bring me back to the day when I had to be an undercover detective:)

I've found people's arrest records, foreclosures, court dates, deeds, previous addresses, etc..all kinds of stuff...it's actually quite scary to know that someone even smarter than myself regarding computers (and I'm only in the middle at best) can possibly find out extremely personal information about me. :confused:

Just gonna put my 2 cents in for a sec... Honestly, I don’t care if ztaprincess is/is not woahdeedle or appledrinkyum or whoever. Ztaprincess has been a great poster on this board (in my opinion). She has had a lot of great things to say and I usually find myself agreeing with her. I don’t really need to know her name or where she lives or her past mistakes for me to agree with the things she says or to shimmy her posts. If she was woahdeedle, then I guess she made a mistake before in lying about her life. Even so, I don’t see how her pretending to be someone hurt other posters. Like NEliteSteven said it’s not like she came to your house for thanksgiving. Ztaprincess as a poster has done nothing wrong, and even if she was woahdeedle, that was the past and now she’s not hiding behind fake stories about her life. Plus, the proof that she is woahdeedle has not been posted. Regardless, I encourage ztaprincess to continue posting. She has always had positive and informative posts and I’m sure will continue to do so. I don’t really get why everyone here cares who people really are anyway? It’s a forum where many people are anonymous, not just ztaprincess.

Now this stuff I am an EXPERT at finding. IP addresses and proxy and all that makes no sense to me. But you give me someone's real name and I can tell you more about them than they can. My old job was researching people and properties.

You can program (as in computer programming) a code that allows you to see every IP (which is usually only one per computer or network (like your entire household) address that has "accessed" your page. I could create one right now, post the address here, say it's something cheer related, actually make it cheer related, but once you click the link "BAM" I have your IP address.

Is that any better or or are you just going to nod your head again politely? ;)

I still have yet to make up my mind. I think she is whoadeedle but I don't know if that affects my opinion of her or not. She's certainly fabulous as ZTA.

Indeed...and if I believe your being honest about your location and we're all in the thread posting at the same time and you're the only IP address that pulls up in Tennessee, then I pretty much have it narrowed down to whose IP it is.
