Just FYI...it's pretty much all over her Twitter that she is a part of some team, and the people commenting are on Aces.

I don't know what qualifies something as being confirmed, but it's probably more than a rumor, since she's basically confirmed that she's on Aces through Social Media. She also retweeteted several other team members welcoming her to the team.
Cali also looks like its advertising a spot for another World's team that was successful this past weekend. So it's not necessarily an isolated incident.
I get it when people wonder if it would be a big deal if it wasn't a cheerlebrity, but given the multiple discussions I've seen about if it is okay to replace World's or Summit athletes I am going to guess that for some people her cheerlebrity status isn't the issue. But I always notice the irony when people who have sought to be noticed are then defended because they are being noticed. Public attention has two sides, always.
I think that both the program, and the athlete are privileged to have the resources and influence to be able to pull off these kind of last minute changes, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but sure seems like a competitive advantage. Good on them, I suppose. It isn't league that they are alone in, and if this type of thing were ruled out it would have negative impacts for other teams who needed to be able to utilize replacements for injuries etc.

^^^ Yeah, I just logged onto Instagram to creep a little and the first picture that popped up was Gabi and 2 other girls with the caption "So happy to be an Ace". So it's official..hmmmmm. Makes me almost wish that AwesomenessTV followed Aces so we could get the lowdown haha.

I am wondering how she can Base a level 5 routine just like that
I could not stick my Flyers in a level 3 routine as bases , they would probably fail , let alone a level 5 worlds routine with all those skills

I don't want to comment on the topic at hand specifically, but generally speaking, Medium teams have 2 athletes who don't need to be part of the elite stunts, so they can be utilized as a tumblers and some basing in the pyramid.

In any sport, you will be judged by your last performance/competition. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to wait an additional 9 months to override a disappointing performance when you can rectify it quicker. As I have said before, I have no problems with alternates/substitutions as long as it breaks no rules and is done with integrity.

This girl really gets around. How many teams has she been on in her cheerleading career. Top gun,cali smoed,gymtyme,lionheart and now cali aces.

Was there no bases on lionheart that could've been a better fit for aces. Selfish that she is thinking about herself instead of those on the team she created. Super entitled!

Lionheart was an IOC team so probably not. All the girls young enough were flyers. And even if they were eligible that does not mean they would have been able to move to Las Vegas for a month, pay for room and board a new uniform and flights for Worlds. Aces are happy to finally have a replacement for their teammate who was injured at NCA and, frankly, so should we.
