Yeah there's an incredible number of ties. With most teams not having any deductions, I guess that makes ties more likely. Also, I feel like the sport has already kind of outgrown the Varsity scoresheet. So many teams are bunched together and are separated by such minuscule margins. Kudos to the judges for being able to keep track of who is placing ahead of who when there is such little room for separation.

I feel this is intentional. Coaches don't want to lose by a ton of points and want to always feel like they have a chance, so there just isn't as high a spread in realistic scores.
