Does anyone have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel? I've been trying to figure out this problem for my online class forever and I can't even figure out how to do it in the book. SO frustrating.
I have to "construct a formula to calculate the projected operations cost after the foretasted increase is implied". I know how to do the math but I do not know how to make it into a functioning formula.

I have to take 35,617,667 x 3.5% and then take than answer and add it to 35,617,667.
So I thought my formula would be =(B35*B31)+B35 but when I type that in my answer appears as ##### not 36,860,285 as it should be. Can anyone help?!

I tried on my computer, and I get the same thing but I think the problem comes from the use of "," and "." the "American way". That's not how we write decimals in France so they weren't even recognized as numbers (we would write 35 617 667 and 3,5%, I switched and it worked). There must be a way to switch your settings to your decimal writing !

ETA : Never mind... :D

Now we're onto day 7 or 8 of missed school (total this year) because of bad weather... I kinda lost count.

A school near me had in the forties one year. They're so poor (long story) they cancelled every time it snowed just to make it up in the summer to cut back on heating costs.

@12mowerd it's not letting me quote you without force closing. Anyways, that's terrible. It's out of the norm here to miss this many days because of snow/bad weather. We usually have 1 or 2 and sometimes 3.

Snow days are the best senior year because we don't have to make them up :-) but yeah that's crazy, I'm planning on moving to North Carolina when I graduate to avoid the snow..... maybe I should go further south haha

Hahaha now if only I was a senior... This year was very out of the normal snow so I think you'll be fine. Are you going to a university in NC? If so, do you mind me asking which one?

Nope I'm going to the University of Maine actually! I've always just thought NC is so pretty and the perfect balance of weather. Who knows where life will take me but hopefully it's there!

So I had to take an extra week off after spring break for my wisdom teeth surgery, and today is my first day back to most classes. I woke up feeling really sick (pretty sure it's strep throat) so I decided to check my syllabus to see if today is ok to miss, and just my luck I have a midterm first class.

well fellow fierceboarders, I can officially say that I did it :D all my sleepless nights posted up in the the PT building, and my countless hours in front of my dry erase board, I can officially say I PASSED MY BOC!!! passing my boards is by far the biggest hurdle I had to jump in my steps to becoming a certified and licensed athletic trainer, and I can officially say I did it!! now all that separates me from adding those letters to my name is my college degree. So, let the job hunt begin!!!!
