Okay...*Deep breath* I have decided I am not cheering in college next year...it took a toll on me phyiscially, emotionally and academically. I have been cheering since I was 5 and never taken a year off until now. I am honestly terrified for a year without cheer since it basically has been my entire life-my license plate is "ICHEEER" haha I am known as the crazy- obsessed cheerleader pretty much everywhere I go. However, I am looking forward to getting involved more on campus and with my sorority as well as our wonderful philantrophy. I may even cheer again my junior/senior year..I am going to miss it so much (I already do). I honestly think this is the best decision for me though..it was a long season full of stress and injuries :( I've never sat in the stands at any college or high school football game or basketball game so that will be a new experience too. I am trying to look at all the positives that I possibly can, but regardless this was the hardest decision of my life so far.
ugh. so frustrated with my lack of tumbling.
I feel the same way!! I'm like.. Yahh.. Just chillen in the back here not doing anything.. Wish I could but yahh, I dont
Back handsprings suck to learn. Especially if your older. I was on the same boat as you are now a few years ago. Just keep your chin up and believe. That's literally all you can do. When your coaches say you're ready, you're ready. So just do it. Don't hold back because that makes it SO much worse. Best of luck and keep us (or at least me!) updated on your progress :)i've been taking tumbling for like a year, and have yet to get my backhandspring. oh, woodward west how i hope you make me be able to tumble!
