They should be in clear, as long as Full Swag doesn't sell the uniforms. Disney would have a crap ton of lawsuits every time somebody made a Disney costume or cosplayed as a Disney character.

I think maybe a reference to the fact that Varsity has copyrighted some stripe patterns or something like that? I might be confused, though!

Varsity sued Star Athletica for infringing on their designs. Star Athletica argued they were just chevron and stripes and Varsity argued their patterns were artwork that could be copyrighted. The Supreme Court sided with Varsity determining their designs could be taken from the uniform and applied to a canvas and be deemed artwork. The fashion industry came to Varsity's defense stating the identical use of colors and patterns Star Athletica was using was an infringement, and a ruling in SA favor would be a threat to an artist or designers work.
