I've been watching high school and college nationals where simple, clean lines rule the mat and don't distract from the athleticism. The amount of sparkle on all-star uniforms feels like a visual assault in comparison!

I've been out of the game here for about 2ish years now?

90% of these uniforms look UTTERLY ridiculous by comparison. Seriously, I'm just so confused..

(Also as someone who's a member of several digital job-sourcing groups, I can attest that an overwhelming number of business social media accounts are run by college interns and recent grads. Maybe the more high profile/elite companies hire someone who's a little bit older and has more long-term experience, but most are picking up the 20-25 y/os because they're cheap and relatively savvy. Doesn't equal a lot of self-restraint though).

The Respect ones pretty much are. The parents bought the top and skirt, put vinyl on and stoned them

In that case, more power to them! I’d happily spend some time with my Silhouette and e9000 to save a few hundred dollars per kid :).

I was basing in a stunt class yesterday and wearing a sports bra with three straps across the top. My flyer’s foot got STUCK in the top strap that came up just above my tank top’s neckline. I can’t even imagine actually competing in some of the uniforms out there. Ok that’s all.

Yes, this is our first year. We came from another gym. We are loving it!! It’s an amazing gym and the coaches are awesome!

I haven't seen any posts about Midnight's new uniforms, but if anybody had a good photo/video of them I'd love to see it because I'm hoping there are secret, detachable sleeves to match with what I'd say is an otherwise perfect crop and skirt.
