probably no twisting while flipping at 5, must originate from ground level, you would also probably want to limit it to 1 flipping rotation or 1 1/4 so you could do a rewind to a cradle.

then in college you can hit the double twisting rewind

you aren't allowed to twist and flip in college. only in level 6.

Just throwing this out there but I want to see a Level 6 team compete a rewind full, if that is what it is called. I have seen videos of that little Laney girl do it and now I want to see two adult do the stunt (and yes I know that may be asking too much but I can still dream). If I see a team compete it then I am all for level 5 doing rewinds lol.

For my day job I work with a Canadian. I tell him I loathe Americas hat daily.

Coed Elite beginning of the 2011 season did one arm assisted rewinds. The assist didn't help much.

i think any flip should be able to be not braced if its starting from the ground.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but based on the way the rules are worded, wouldn't a back handspring up be legal for level 5 currently?

If L5 can already do this type of stunt, I feel like a rewind should be allowed.

Coming from someone who has done a rewind with a group...I say 100% yes! I'd rather backspot a rewind then a 1 1/5 up any day I feel so much more in control of the flyer the for the whole skill...like theres such a small window for the skill to go bad...and even if it did go south I feel like theres less chance of the flyer getting hurt then the same group doing a full up cause essentially at least in my experience the backspot had hold of the backspot for more then half of the actual rotation

Yes.

I've seen plenty of rewinds go wrong. Flyer goes over the backs head. Flyer lands on stomach. etc.
But nothing too bad. Here's a funny vid of a stunt group attempting.
