I am unsure how to position a girl in each corner for them to cross tumble without a collision. I have seen it done in countless videos and I am sure that they are set in the right positions. I am fairly sure that a large part of it is fear. Advice please.

Each girl stands on the right (or left) side of the corner, not in the middle of the corner like regular cross tumbling. Last year we did this with punch-fronts, and the girls were scared to try it at first. So, we started by running and doing a forward roll to the counts, then a dive roll. Once they were comfortable, I had them do the punch-fronts, and it worked out fine.. I would suggest have them do simple skills to get comfortable and get their timing together, and then have them move on to the real skill.

The most important thing is that they know which side of center they need to go to. It helps to have someone stand there or tape an X on the floor

Edit: Sorry this wound up sideways, but the principle's the same
