When Did You Start All Star Cheer

When I was about 4! I'm 16 now so I've been cheering for over 11 years!!

I started when I was 3 and made level 5 at age 9 but broke my back so now I'm 17 on a level 3.

I started at age 13....pretty late. I'm now 17 on a level 3 team. It was definitely difficult for me to learn how to tumble but I'm proud that I did!

My CP is only 5 and she loves cheer. If she could go to practice, tumbling class, or a competition everyday she would. She likes watching cheer on you tube and cant wait until she is on the bigger girls team:0 When did your CP get involved in cheer and when did you realize this was there thing versus something that just want to do for a moment. Also did you start at a big gym or a small gym?

A lot of gyms offer cheer classes... that would be a great way to start. Also, some of the younger squads only compete a few times and it's much less demanding than it is for the older girls... which I think is great. I don't think 5 is too young to start all-star cheer if she loves it, I think it more depends on what your local gym offers, big or small.
