You are correct, they were the following weekend. I was totally going by memory. We had a girl who had to leave to compete with her high school during ATC last year, that's prob what I'm remembering. I'm sure there was a state qualifier that day. And my memory of teams on Friday may be from the year before, or for a different reason last year. *shrug*

It all becomes a blur after this long.

Yep. I'm sure I'll care more next year when my kid is in high school. This year, I wish they'd screw the high school kids in favor of no Sunday competing. What? Hahahahaha!

I just heard that South's back in. Eek. Good thing it's not really a travel comp for most peeps. I don't know how full the hotels are, but I got an email a couple of days ago from a hotel trying to bribe me out of a two bedroom suite because they are overbooked (I cancelled it in favor of another room I had booked).

I think because we will be going on Friday and Sunday most of us wouldn't opt for the hotel room anyway.

That's good. I'm not sure I would be more or less likely to get a room. My daughter's teams will likely be on Friday, too. We'll watch other teams on Saturday, and my room is already paid for, so...We'll shop on Saturday during our free time. ;) I hate driving back and forth.

Hopefully all will be disaster free. ;)

lol it's not you.... I'm just anxious- interested to see the divisions and how they will stack up :) I really think EPs know that we turn into crazed stalkers looking for schedules and they sit behind their computer screens laughing maniacally at us refreshing our screens LOL

Sonic was going to try to take one of our teams, but since its last minute and it overlaps the superbowl weekend some of the kids had previous plans. :(
