Well last season Steel tried coming together again and we just couldn't get enough interested. International teams don't have much luck in this area (sadly for me). So if it's successful this season i'll be super excited!I heard it from a Brandon athlete

lolI saw on Tumbler Omni is going large coed but it's Tumbler so....
Every time I see A Team listed all I can think of is the old TV show starring Mr. TIf spirit would add a few girls to A team and go large that would be amazing they are too good not to be large!
I can see that. I enjoy watching these teams, but I can see how as an athlete you would want your team to be unique. My CP has never been in a level with a tribute team before, so it's not something I've really considered from that angle! :)I would not pay to be on a tribute team lol.
I'm not sure if they're going back to Small this year, or staying "Senior Medium cOEd X". :) I'm sure it will be posted by someone as soon as the decision is announced, however! ;)Is smoex small coed if not please have a killer small coed team cea is love to see them in that division out of Raleigh kerneverville or charlotte

Don't tell me there aren't people who would cut off their left arm to be in a WC tribute routine :P
Exactly. My daughter turns 9 on Monday, and would love to be on one of these teams. I'm not sure if that will change as she gets older, however. Also depending on the age of the group, I'm sure it's kinda special to be doing a version of the 'worlds level' team that you look up to.
Well, remember CEA Raleigh is a different gym with different coaches, and S3 is a different level (and there were adjustments to the music and routine), but I get ya. I think it's a pretty interesting discussion and we can totally start a new thread about it if you want. :)I think it's cute when it's a young team or when it's like something fun to do for a showcase. I had no problem with Cheersports Y5 team doing Great Whites routine. Because it was still a level 5 routine and there was a big enough of an age difference between the two divisions that it actually looked like a tribute.
I don't think it's appropriate for a senior level team to do a tribute routine as their routine all year long. If I were on that team I'd feel like the coaches didn't want to put effort into my team and they were taking the easy way out and being lazy. It looks like the coaches said "Hey we already have a routine no ones using anymore, we already have music, my job is basically done lol." I wouldn't shell out big bucks for that all season.
ETA:
I'd do it for fun and for free. But I wouldn't want to pay regular priced season costs for a routine that's already been done. And I wouldn't want to compete with it. I'd showcase with it. For fun.
