I just wanted to say NEVER say NEVER, it may come back to bite you in the butt. You have to do what is best for YOUR family, and as hard as it is in the end that's all that matters.
im switching gyms, i didnt really like the last gym i was at, loved the owners but was not to happy at that gym, & disliked a lot of the athletes and how they treated others , my lil sister is switching gyms as well but we arent going to the same program!
Your mom is awesome running in multiple directions all year!! Good luck to the 3 of you :)
What gym do you cheer for? Only asking because I see you live in Drexel HIll (I live in Media) and I don't recognize the uniform in your picture. just curious :)
My thoughts exactly. When my daughter decided to leave it was one of the worst things she has ever been through. The entire staff turned their back on her and said bad things about her to anyone who would listen. I had seen they way the gym treated kids who had left before so I know what was coming.
Needless to say it only helped solidify her decision.
This is why I have told my cp to not mention our thinking of leaving to ANYONE at the gym. While I think some will be shocked, I know at least one coach will react childishly (a big reason why we are leaving in the first place). The gym gossips will have a field day, and my kid will become invisible to the coaching staff. And if they knew we were looking at SOT it would be even worse.
We're fully expecting the same thing. It's been a bit challenging trying to participate in "next year" discussions with current team knowing our decision to leave was made months ago. I hate to deceive, but it's the only shot at CP getting through the rest of the season unscathed. This is why I have told my cp to not mention our thinking of leaving to ANYONE at the gym. My cp and I are honored to be where we are (we've watched them since she started cheering) and unless something terrible happens, we won't move again.
