Level 3 Coed Stunts - Is This Legal?

Hi all (I warn you in advance this could be a long, rambling post)

This year is my first year competing in the partner stunt division which I am really excited about! :) My partner and I are are entering the level 3 division.
The only issue we are facing is that we are having a LOT of difficulty interpreting some of the rules... and are consistently getting completely opposing opinions from coaches i.e. one will save a move is definitely legal in the level, while the other will say it's not allowed and will result in deductions.

Obviously we wan't to avoid deductions so I'd love anyone to tell us if they know if any of these moves are not allowed for level 3 co-ed stunts. I think the main reason we are getting such confusing answers is that some skills ARE allowed in level 3 group stunt/routine i.e. you can do a full up to prep, or tic tok or switch up because the main base can maintain some form of contact with the flyer, but apparently this is NOT allowed for partner stunt because the base completely releases you?

Thoughts on any of the below moves - your help/interpretation of the rules is hugely appreciated!! Happy to provide videos if my descriptions don't make sense. :)

Are these skills allowed for true coed stunt (i.e. one boy base/one girl flyer/no assistance)

Switch up to prep (includes a skill during the toss, is that allowed?)
Low/low tic tok (releases above prep technically?)
Pitch to reverse hands, half around to hands (is a toss & twist allowed at the same time?)
Toss genie (is this classified as toss hands?)
Genie to hands (does the release happen too high)
Cartwheel out from hands (does the inversion happen too high?)

You have to treat your coed stunt like its in a group when it comes to rules...

So yes! Anytime your partner releases you, it is a release move and must follow the rules accordingly.

There are no special partner stunt rules

To save you time, ALL release moves in level 3 must initiate below prep, and catch no higher than prep.

Most of what you listed is illegal

To max your partner score, toss hands, toss one leg, all at prep, half up half around to hands, half up extension, half twisting tap down and solid extended one leg body positions

Thanks for your answers! It's so confusing as coaches keep giving us different answers. I think I might video our routine and send it to the comp organisers to look at for approval. We've removed most of those stunts now to be on the safe side, but we don't want to lose marks for creativity or difficulty if we're forgetting to include relevant skills.

So @flipmac can you just confirm do you think low/low at prep (so half up to right lib, switch to left lib) would be illegal since the switch initiates at prep, not below it?
I've just been watching videos from AASCF competitions last year and lots of routines seem to include low/lows or switch ups and I wasn't sure if they would be technically losing points for including that skill.

Especially at AASCF events, I cannot watch most routines because of how many illegal skills are performed and I know will not be deducted for.

To be brutally honest, you could perform your low to low all season, and not be deducted if you compete with aascf... But it is illegal at level 3, it is a level 4 skill

I spoke to les briefly at aascf nationals last year and they said they might bring the program here, I'm yet to see anything done about that, as I would be the first in the door to get it done... I'm a stickler for the rules and reading between the lines

Awesome - thanks so much for your honest answer. I doubt people are doing the illegal skills on purpose, from everyone I've spoken to (coaches and athletes alike) there is genuine confusion about what is allowed and what isn't. Some people are convinced certain skills are allowed, while others believe the total opposite, so it's easy to see why so many 'illegal' skills are performed in partner stunt routines. I'd love to see maybe some videos of sample level routines, or a more thorough breakdown in the rules actually listing skills that are allowed for each level i.e. toss hands for level 3. I think we'll take the questionable skills out just in case... I'd rather have a safe, legal routine then risk losing deductions. Hopefully it won't result in us losing to a 'more difficult' routine that has skills that aren't level appropriate.
