But I thought this was an opinion board?? Last I checked just because you disagree with her dosent mean she have the right to voice her thoughts. Lakerfanatic why is it you support meanj when he starts a silly thread but pounce on anyone that would dare say anything against your team or program??? This is the second place where because it was a negative opinion about you and now it's unacceptable??

It is a discussion about the "name" effecting the outcome of events looks appropriate to me.

hit reply too soon....lakerfantic has every right to stand up for people saying negitve things about her gym ESPECIALLY since she never is negative about anyone else.

she was not the first to use that example so if you jump on her jump on the other ones who did too. If you don't like something someone writes on here ignore it or just don't come on here. There are alot if things said on this board that I may dislike or agree with but you don't see me creating dramatics everyone I see a bad comment about my gym or a gym I like.

I'm simply saying she is using CA limited division as her example. To pretend otherwise is untrue.

Ok I understand she wasn't the first to use that same example but ok. I'm just simply saying there's no need for all of this jumping on each other....and we wonder why other sports and athletics don't take us serious. :eek:

The same reason Coach Troy that you can turn a cheek to some stuff and whine about other stuff...we all have stuff close to our hearts...yourself included....and I happen to have been a very good sport ALL this time...but when someone calls out my kids team...well...you know....anyhoo...Ill drop it...but the pot and the kettle are getting pretty blurry....much? Coach Troy regarding this thread...I think of it this way and maybe I am too new to be aware of anything sinister some imply......I'll use PCM because we see them a lot and they got drug into this convo...when PCM wins...I see the kids who work their tails off and watch their joy (like I did at worlds when their teams shined)....I did NOT think that they succeeded because they wear purple and orange and are one of the biggest gyms in California....that is the way I see this sport...and I choose to continue because this thread oozes of sour grapes and poor sportsmanship...period

Deductions at Worlds didn't make much of a difference. The deductions amounts were the same as they were at Varsity events, but Varsity events are out of 100 and Worlds was out of 300, making deductions at Worlds 1/3 of what you are used to.

I didn't see the Small Coed division last year so I can't personally comment on Smoed, but when I've told people about the value of deductions at Worlds they've said the results made sense.
