Ok I have a small issue with that article for one reason...
Who would ever ask said athlete about sportsmanship? From the one that Tweeted bad things about her own teammate after an ESPN special... Whether I agree with them or not is irrelevant, but seriously.. Not the first person I'd be asking about sportsmanship.

Bad sportsmanship? Maybe someone ( cheerislove8 ) should send them a screen shot from Worlds Fiercechat with probably 30 people from 30 gyms chanting for Tsunami and SSX...Best.Fiercemoment.ever.
I can't find it on my computer!! Ahhh I definitely took a screen shot of it.... hmmm I'll keep looking!

so true, i saw all that and that was just messy.

Fierceboard chat must always take a vow of calmness before we get to awards..it's a rule somewhere, I know it!

... well since it's been brought up.

what exactly did juliet say about maddie after the CNN special? if someone could PM it that'd be great! :]

Haha, the boards are SUBSTANTIALLY more "tame" then they were just a few seasons ago. I'd rather every single newbie ask why they can't post on the main board before I'd disable the 3 posts, 72 hours feature. It prevents all the drive-by/alias posters from going crazy when their favorite gym loses a major competition.

And ssccxnce she's probably referring to the thought process of a select few on this board. Some people tend to think that the second place team should throw a "cheer-mitzfah", if you will, for the champions or that the winner is not allowed to get excited when they found out they won. Somehow it turns into 1 person out of the 10,000 at the awards ceremony seeing so and so call the other team a cotton-headed-ninnymuggins and sticking out their tongue. Then we have to start a thread about how said team is the least sportsmanlike team to step foot on a mat in the history of cheerleading. Then the thread gets locked and we start it all again the next weekend. It's actually really fun to watch when you don't take it seriously.;)
