Dramatic Pauses.

In some cases, they definitely add suspense. But many times, its just overused and used for stunts that aren't all that impressive. And when there are 7 of them in a row, that's just too much.

"Baby you're a PAUSE fire PAUSE work, come on show em what PAUSE you're worth, make them go PAUSE oh PAUSE oh PAUSE oh , as you shoot across the skyyyyyy PAUSE." like please, too much.

I think I can speak for a lot of the people who responded when I say we didn't criticize your opinion because you don't like tick tocks, we did it because you said "they took the easy way out" and they "lack creativity". Things like that definitely strike a nerve with a fan, and your certainly not the first one that has said remarks along that line. You all may be tired of the "Teal Army" attacking anyone who criticizes SE, but I'm tired of people being flat out rude with nothing to back it up with. If you have valid points, I'm always one to respect and honor them, but don't point fingers unless your hands are clean. Maybe the rest of the cheerleading world should stop complaining and waiting for SE to do something new, so they can just copy that too (and I use the term "copy" loosely, since they're usually dulling it down), and perhaps they should be creative for once and come up with their own thing. Maybe we should all start only being able to throw things that our gym comes up with. Maybe that will show all the "non-teal army" just how dull our sport would be if it wasn't for innovators like charlotte, and cea, and top gun, and cali, and cheer athletics. Nobody "attacked" you. We just gave our opinion on your opinion. Personally, I don't ever recall saying that you were wrong for not liking stretch tick tocks. But I just hope your team is doing something they came up with on their own if you are going to talk about trendsetting teams with a lack of creativity.

example.....Team I <3 Cheer does a stunt section.....many people post on the boards about the stunt section....."Wow, that (insert tick tock variation) here is so cool and it looks so hard so it really must be! Of course they're going to win worlds this year! They will kill Team I Adore Cheer."

When in reality, these people MOST LIKELY have never, ever tried Team I <3 Cheer AND Team I Adore Cheer 's stunt sections.

I get it..just because a stunt LOOKS hard or easy, doesn't mean it is. I remember someone on one of the 'stunting' threads posting that doing 'fake' fullups is harder than 'real' fullups..

I, too, am sick of sloppy basket tosses. It's probably the least-perfected 'building' section..which irks me. Bent legs, bad placement, crossed legs, ick...

I was holding back earlier. I'm am SO over sr elite's stretch tik toks. I would have thought by now they'd do something different like ripple them up or maybe a stretch to scale or just something besides stretch tik toks. I swore they were going to do high to high tik toks this season..They were the trend setters for tik toks and instead of raising the bar, they've been out done by teams that are more creative w/ tik toks. If they come out next year doing triple tik toks I'm going to poke my eyes out. The 360 stunt was cool last year. Why are you doing it AGAIN? Why is your jr team to stretch tik toks now? Can we just let these stunts go and come up w/ new ideas?

Although to be fair, I think to be over something it has to be something you might have liked in the first place. I can't imagine anyone, in this or any other parallel universe, liking Jammy.
