wow, that's rough haha...poor kids. there's was a team here in PA at a competition last year that used gerogias music i believe, or maybe senior elite...i really can't remember but it was one of the two i was so confused.

i remember back in highschool we competed against some team in 2007 who used f5's music from 2004...

i don't understand haha. GET YOUR OWN.

they kept all the CEA stuff. even "we are senior elite" they're a youth team... uh... ok..

they even kept the "cea" voice overs in..

I'm pretty sure I've figured out what team at what competition this is. But my favorite part is how it blatantly says "CEA" and "Senior Elite" and I don't think this senior team nor are their gym initials CEA, lol.

These are the things that killed me!! I'm seriously dying laughing over here...I know I shouldn't be, but I can't help it...

I wonder if any of the judges knew. Can you have points marked off for using someone else's music? Almost all of it?
i don't think that would be fair to the kids, it's not their fault. i mean who really wants to be embarrassed by having another team's music?

Ouch, that is kinda mean as a camp instuctor, what if it was the coach and not the kids?

I dont see anything mean about it, I gave constructive criticism by telling the top girls to lock out. I never said "haha you suck you stole teams music" I just heavily suggested that I knew where they got their music from, I never called them out on it or said it was a bad thing. Originality applies to more than one part of a teams routine and not just their music. You have no idea what else I wrote on their evaluation sheet. So I suggest you get your facts straight next time before you try to call someone out.

I suggest you know what ' calling someone out means', cause I never said that, I just think what you did was mean, being constructive would of been pulling the coach aside in a discreet manner and asking if she was aware that her overall impression score may have been effected by using other teams music. Just Saying. I am glad you don't coach my kids or in my gym, you have a poor snitty attitude.

Side note. Why do they all dance with their mouths open the whole time? The fly-catcher mouth was "in" when I was in high school- 10 YEARS AGO. :banghead:

They used senior elites music without asking for permisson!!

I know exactly what calling out means because its what I just did to you. You did try and call me out, you inferred that I was mean and I took that as you saying that I am a bad instructor which I am not. AGAIN there was no reason for me pull the coach aside because their music did NOT affect their overall score/impression. No where in the rules does it say not to use other teams music. You werent there you don't know what else I wrote, so again your talking out of your bum. But since this is obviously SUCH a big deal to you I'm gonna let you know that this school in particular recieved the highest possible score from me.

The first part of this teams music is "borrowed" from a team about 45 mins away, and they competed at a compeition in February where Tsunami was, but it's one of the biggest forms of flattery. I'm sure rec teams are on a strict budget, and cut corners where they can. It's easier to cut parts with sounds effects in them already and piece them together vs from the original and trying to do it yourself.

There's also pieces from other teams I'm sure you'll recognize, but when this team performed a few hours after Tsunami at a local competition I definitely did a double take. :-)
