OT Who's Excited For... Dance Moms Season 2!?

I am shamefacedly addicted to this even though I know so much of this conflict is artificially created.....please, who in their right mind would have thought Payton with her height would blend in pleasingly on stage. But her mom threw the right kind of fit at auditions to show that she would bring more drama, so there she was.....briefly....so as to set the stage for even more drama. And those moms, oy - I suspect it will not be long before they regret ever getting involved. Five years down the road I think those girls will be so embarrassed by how most of their moms behaved it could cause real problems. And yet, I readily admit I will probably be watching Thurs to see what I missed Tuesday....kind of like not being able to look away from the proverbial train wreck.

If anybody's interested in watching, Brooke and Paige's school district placed 9th in Small Varsity DII at UCA Nationals. It's Franklin Regional High School. It was a little bit of a rough performance (not sure if Varsity would show the stunts or cut out the usual best parts of the routine), but they're still pretty good!

I was so happy Mackenzie was at the top of the pyramid! She is so cute and a really good little dancer. I wanted to hit Jill through the tv when she wouldn't let Kendall perform. In the teaser it looked like they may leave...maybe they'll go to Candy Apples...lol
Abbie must have been drinking at that comp because she was all hugs and "great job" even when the kids appeared to come in 3rd. Oh and who has a dance comp on a gymnasium floor??? That would be like showing up for a cheer comp and there's no spring floor!

Totally agree! I think it was what Abby said sometimes your ego hurts more than the actual injury. She is like a cheerlebrity but in the dance world. So when she fell, it was like "Woah, Maddie just fell!!" At least that's what I thought!


I love the show and I think Chloe's mom is hilarious at times! I really just like watching the actual dances. Jill is obnoxious, and Makenzie is the most adorable little dancer ever!

I laughed so hard when Chloe's Mom made the comment about Kendall's Mom's hat.

It depends when you are little though, one time I fell on my butt as well when I was really young, I think in Grade 1 or 2 from monkey bars and it actually really hurt and I was crying as much as she was. :p

Jillian, I really dislike her, it's always about what she needs and wants. I love her comment when she was yelling with Abby and none of the mom's were backing her up.. yeah Jillian.. after all you do is bad talk the moms, you really think they are going to back you up on this? Jillian is definitely way too much of a drama queen.

Speaking of Kendall and Jill, I was looking through dance competition results online, because I'm semi-obsessed with this show, and accidentally revealed a spoiler that must be coming up later this season. PM if you want the link, but I won't post it here because I don't want to ruin anything for anyone.

I know this isnt really relevant haha but Pittsburgh and Canton (where Candy Apples is) are actually relatively close to each other, it's just that there aren't any direct highways between the two. So the drive is 2 hours because you either have to go way north and then backtrack, or go pretty far west and then north.
