wow some people! you shoulda asked me, i would of flown all that way to just compete at worlds :)

I really just can't imagine doing this to a team. I'd have to be dead to not go, and even then I'd try and pull off a Weekend at Bernies type thing to make it happen.

OMG, thanks for the laugh!! I totally have a mental picture of a dead athlete who only comes to life when the cheer music starts. :)

And WOW! That stinks that 2 didn't show up. Crazy!!!

That is so crazy!! Thank goodness for alternates. And congrats on your team doing so well under the circumstances! Who in their right mind would just not show up for WORLDS? I would do anything to compete at worlds.

That is RIDICULOUS.... If I was a coach/owner at OC I would never let those kids step into my gym again.

You guys should have just put me in, I was there all weekend and not competing!! haha

i was just about to ask that too! in the original post it mentioned their excuses! im so curious ... as far as im concerned there is just no excuse for bailing on worlds!!
