A congratulatory reward and a bribe are different. At work, if I perform well during the year, I get a bonus. At cheerleading, If I'm a great coach, parents buy us gifts at the end of the year because they love us.
If your daughter does amazing and gets something she has been struggling to achieve, by ALL means please reward her. Now I am not saying that it is right in every single case. Nor should you yell at them to try to make them do something. But if you need to help me reach my full potential with monetary rewards, then so be it.
