mattie larson is focusing on her college career at UCLA and currently training elite

Katelyn Ohashi is definitely one of the most talented gymnasts the US has had in a long time.. She looks better than all of the seniors in my opinon (her execution, skills, lines).. unfortunately she's too young and will be too young next year too

Katelyn Ohashi is amazing! I am completely in love with this girls gymnastics!

hahahaha not old in that way! Just old for an Olympian gymnast!

How about Oksana Chisovitina? I think she was 33 her last Olympics. And a Mom!!!

Poor Rebecca Bross! I hate watching injuries happen. :( Fingers crossed she's okay.

The moment she started screaming I got the most awful shiver..I wish they replayed it ONLY so you could see how it happened, but WOW that had to have hurt bad. Last they were saying it might have been her kneecap but she's probably done for the year. Poor girl..I hope Chellsie Memmel is ok, my heart broke for her bars routine. And Alex Raisman- can't imagine trying to do beam when everything else has stopped for an injury. SO awkward..Everyone was MUCH better today though.

And HELLOOOO Nurse! Those male gymnasts are a good lookin' group ;)

What event did it happen on? Just so I can skip over it since I heard it was pretty bad..

She landed short on her vault and immediately fell to the floor grabbing her knee. Such a scary moment!

It's unfortunate that nothing was happening as she crashed, you could hear, feel, and see her pain all at once. I really praise Alexandra for continuing like that, and also for hitting such a difficult dismount after all that had happened, and her knowing she'd gone over time, it's a true showing of her excellence. As for Chelsie, I really don't think it was just her shoulder, I'd bet it was a combination of that and the pressure. Alexandra is able to pull off a score (on a good day) on floor higher than Chelsie most likely would've pulled off on bars (though she's normally an amazing bar worker, the commentators even said her bars have been suffering badly, like her vault), and that pressure probably got to her, being an athlete in her 20s trying to achieve the Olympic goal she's missed out on twice, and the Visa championships are a decider for Worlds, which in turn plays a large role for London 2012.
All-in-all, with the exception of the tragic accident with Bross and the devastating falling apart Chelsie saw on bars, I thought this year was amazing, and congrats to Jordyn Wieber, I remember the first time I saw her maybe a year or 2 ago, when she was still competing as a junior, and I was blown away, but figured she'd peaked and wouldn't be as good in senior, boy was I wrong! Nice to see Shawn back out there, and I was absolutely blown away by Alicia's floor routine, that music actually gave me chills.

I feel bad for Rebecca, just so unfortunate. Last year's VISA Maggie Larson was there & I thought she performed pretty well, but there wasn't anything about her this year? I know she's a below the radar gymnast but still

When will the Worlds team be announced? (just watching the re-run now)
