Oh- here's an actual confession.

I may or may not show non-cheer people a blurryish video of Top Gun Lg Coed 2007 and pretend that I'm one of the guys on the team when I'm questioned about my athleticism in high school and/or asked if there are any videos of me from ESPN... :oops:


I may or may not have actually done that today... whoops.

haha omg.. this reminds me of this time in 9th grade when i posted a video of senior elite at battle at the beach 2010 on facebook and my friend at school asked me if that was my team and i said yes and she went on and on about how good we were and i just kept thanking her while feeling sooo guilty.. lol :oops:

- I have had the same stretching routine in all 8 years I have cheered, and I plan to continue it these next four years in college
- I hate attention in my everyday life but in front of a crowd I can be a total show off
-Always crack my knees the same way before competiting....and usually practicing
-always warm up my tumbling the same way at a practice and in warm up
-sometimes I would mouth the cheer in the beginning of the cheer section of the routine since I had just finished tumbling
-complete stalker of other teams before completions, so much so that after I graduated this past year, a few weeks ago my old team had competition and an old team texted me wanting to know if I had any dirt on the other time.....and I actually had information haha
-I like when coaches yell at ppl for not doing something right, they need to learn to fix their mistakes
-my mom always wrote down how the teams we competed against did so I know how we compaired
-I finally learned my backwalkovers when I was 18...which was after I started to work on fulls

I also may be guilty of saying that I may or may not have been on Top Gun Coed in 2007 to prove a point like dmouth11. Youngest guy on the team, nbd.

Also, I don't mind Jammy. I just don't like it when he just stands in the middle of the stage for 15 minutes just swinging back and forth.

I may or may not have consoled a flyer who fell after a performance by saying that it wasn't her fault/ and its no big deal, when in reality it was.

I have told people and my teacher that I was going to a major cheer comp and had to hand the assignment in early so I could get out of the group assignments with slackers.

1. Whenever my team has just finished warmups and we're waiting backstage, nobody can talk to me because i get aggravated so quickly. I don't know why but it annoys me SO much when my teammates are constantly yelling backstage like "FLYERS DONT FORGET TO SMILE AND PULL UP AND.... etc" :mad: I usually just go into my own corner and pray like at least 5 times to myself, then hold hands w. someone to walk on.
2. My gym has a rule about no fly aways (which i understand) but i always do them when i'm doing my hair anyways, it's like a good luck charm to me & there's no way i could compete without them i feel like. So if my coaches tell me to put them up, i will put them up until we get backstage and i will put them back down.. :oops: sorry to my coaches if any of you are reading this lol
3. I am a huge hair criticizer when it comes to poofs and how the ponytail is suppose to look (high ponytail w. straight hair). like if people come to the competition with a jacked up poof or with the ponytail so low you cant even see the bow, i will tell them to fix it even though i know it gets on their nerves. like i can't deal with jacked up hair. there's way too many tutorials out there for how to do poofs for them to mess it up! on my team's private facebook page, i shared the link to Cami Branson's poof tutorial on there for them haha

I may or may not have told off people I know that question if cheerleading is a sport by asking them to youtube World Cup Shooting Stars and told them I was the center flyer... :D

I've been cheering since I was 8, nearly 10 years now, and I've been level 5 for 4 years. But I can't do a back walkover to save my life. :oops:

This is the greatest idea i've ever heard. I hate slackers in group projects.

Okay I thought of more (of course)

-I think its the part of me that's always wanted to coach, but I am SO into the sport. I check competition websites for performance order neurotically, and then stalk our competition's videos, websites, fierceboard threads, anything. I usually know who we are competing against before our coaches. People on my team think its weird or annoying, but I don't see what's so wrong with me being involved and passionate. Plus like I said I've always dreamed of being a coach :)

-Like others have said, I ALWAYS have to pee right before we go on stage. I always say its not because I'm nervous, I always think I actually have to go. Then I'll realize like three hours later that I never went and still don't have to. haha

-Watching other teams during warm ups pumps me up more than everything. People always yell at me for watching, but it motivates me to do my best and gets me super excited

generally, if you ask to turn something in early because you're missing a class, profs are more likely to work with you (and 99% of the time, tell you to hand it in/take it when you get back).

So many keep popping in my mind to post, but I'll contain myself and just post one more.

Back when I was a back spot, my coach always told our team to never take our eyes or focus off our flyer while she was in the air. Nonetheless, I always took quick glances at the other stunt groups in my periphery to make sure they were still in the air at every single competition. I could always tell by the audience if we were hitting or not, but I still have to quickly look around myself. haha.

Haha I still do this, and I yell "THEY"RE ALL UP" if we are all hitting. My flyer says it motivates her! haha

I honestly can't stand it when our high school girls wear their cheer jackets when it's not game day. I don't know why... it's just my pet peeve...
